Happy New Year, Everybody!

It’s so hard to believe how fast last year flew by, but I’m excited about the promise 2015 holds! Many of you know about my fascination with numbers. Well, the number “15″ in the Bible denotes rest, which comes after deliverance, represented by fourteen. I don’t know about you, but I was definitely lifting up some deliverance prayers last year. When I looked up the Biblical significance of the number 15, it was such an encouragement for me. I immediately pictured Mary sitting at Jesus’ feet and Jesus telling Martha that Mary has chosen the greater thing…to sit with Him, listen to Him, worship Him, and rest with Him. I pray for a time of great refreshing to wash over us all as we choose that “greater thing” this fifteenth year.
I hope to see many of you at some of the upcoming children’s ministry conferences! I will be at both CPC’s and well as many others you can check out on my tour schedule.
Currently, I’m trying to wrap up a new  kids’ Christmas musical for next year. (More about that later on.) My new VBS curriculum is also available in stores and online.

I hope you’ll take a look at my “Jeff Slaughter VBS Fun Run” and see if it would be a resource you’d want to use with your kids.
One more thing…
If you’re still deciding on a spring musical for your kids’ choir, Brentwood Benson recently released “The Go Tour.”  It contains a super strong missions emphasis. I had a blast writing it and if you decide to use it, I pray the Lord will use it to impact your kids’ hearts in powerful ways.
I hope the first week of your new year  has been amazing and that you are finding time to rest in Him!
Love y’all!
Jeff

I wanted to share how much our Puppet Ministry enjoyed performing ” The Christmas Cross” at our church. Everyone enjoyed it and the music was great!
